Ladybirds After School Club is located in the Seven Towers Leisure Centre for primary school aged children.
We provide a pick-up service from local primary schools at 2pm, 3pm and on some occasions 4pm.
We are open Monday – Friday from 2pm until 6pm.
Upon arrival to the after school club the children are given a snack (menu varies each day) and then assisted with homework before settling into play activities.
We offer swimming for boys on a Monday, swimming for girls on a Tuesday, baking on a Thursday and Friday is ball games in our big hall.
Craft and sports activities are also provided every week. There is no additional charge for any of these activities.
Our fees are paid weekly / monthly in advance and if you would like a look around our facility please feel free to contact us to arrange a suitable time.
FANTASTIC FACILITIES
The club has two large rooms which are fully furnished and equipped to cater for your child’s needs, including homework classes and a wide range of interesting play activities such as pool, air hockey, table tennis, indoor football, video game area and much more. We also take the children swimming each week and provide a gymnastics class taken by a trained instructor. Our facilities include an integral kitchen where we prepare the children nutritious snacks on returning from school.

During Term Time – Monday to Friday from 2.00pm – 6.00pm
During School Holidays – Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm.
*12.30pm opening can be arranged to accommodate Primary 1 children in September and early school closure days (number dependent).

AFTER SCHOOL PICK UP
Ladybirds After School Club aims to provide a prompt and reliable after school pick-up service from Ballykeel, Ballymena Primary, Braidside, Camphill, Carniny, Gracehill, The Diamond, Fourtowns, St Louis, St Brigid’s, Broughshane Primary, St Comicille’s and Carnaghts Primary school. If you have a child that requires a school pick-up from a school not on our list, please contact us to discuss.
AFTER SCHOOL FEES
Fees are payable weekly or monthly in advance. No charge will be made when the club is closed. Arranged holidays taken or days absent due to sickness will be charged at the after school rate. If a child is absent on a day when full-time, or a full day is booked, a full days fees will be charged. We accept cash and childcare vouchers but our preferred method of payment is bt Standng Order.
SUMMER SCHEME
Ladybirds runs a Summer Scheme durng July and August. Each week the kids are taken out on day trips to parks, beaches, forests or adventure centres. On previous occasions we have visited the Tayto Factory, The Giants Causeway, Watertop Farm, The Transport Museum, Belfast Zoo, Carrickfergus Castle, Rosepark Farm, Aunt Sandras Sweet Factory and many more exciting venues.
